Katie's musical journey began at a young age, and over the years, she has cultivated a profound expertise in piano instruction. Her teaching approach is rooted in a commitment to fostering creativity, building technical skill, and nurturing a lifelong appreciation for music. Katie believes that every student has unique potential, and she works closely with each individual to help them achieve their musical goals, whether they are just starting out or are advanced players seeking to refine their technique.

Her vision for The Glasgow Piano Teachers is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where students can thrive and feel inspired. Under her leadership, GPT has become a trusted hub for piano education in Glasgow, attracting students from diverse backgrounds and with a range of musical aspirations.

Katie also runs Piano Bairns preschool class. This unique class has been specifically developed to introduce young children to the basics of music through piano in a playful, engaging, and educational way. Katie’s love for the piano and working with children shines through in the way she teaches and inspires the Bairns.
