Hi, I’m Aditi!
Starting piano lessons at 4 years old, going on to also dabble in viola, take vocal lessons, and even teach myself some guitar; music has been my constant companion, and is so important to me. Which is why I think it’s essential to introduce music to children, and share that same joy with others!
My passion for music has led me to achieve ABRSM grades 1-6 in practical piano and grade 5 theory, as well as perform vocally in competitions such as Young Musicians. My main teaching priorities are sharing how fun music can be, whilst still conveying the strong fundamentals needed to build confidence and work towards each budding musicians personal goals.
Currently on a gap year after S6, I am going on to study medicine, but plan to continue throughout uni. I work from Lenzie, but I’m happy to have a chat to try and work something out if this isn’t accessible for you, so please reach out! I am also open to some vocal tuition amidst piano lessons, so please let me know if this interests you!

Daniel Toderas is a Romanian pianist based in Glasgow, who currently holds a degree and a master’s degree in piano performance, both completed at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Daniel has over 17 years of performing experience and has won numerous prizes in competitions and played recitals across the UK in cities like Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Perth, Oxford, London, Kent, etc., and countries in Europe like Romania and France. Competitions include being a prize winner in the Romania National Music Olympics, a prize winner in the final of the Oxford Piano Competition, and also being a finalist in the Edinburgh Concerto Competition in 2019, which has obtained him several concerts, including performing Prokofiev’s 3rd Piano Concerto with the Edinburgh Symphony Orchestra in November 2023.
Daniel has also over 7 years of teaching experience, ranging from complete beginners to more advanced students, grades 1-8 or above Grade 8 level.
“My greatest joy is watching my students grow and seeing them become their own artist and fall in love with music as much as I have. My love for music and performing has actually been amplified by my teaching experiences, as I would not be the person I am today without all my teachers who took so much time to shape and nurture me. I have learnt so much about myself through teaching and I will always try to be the greatest cheerleader for my students. And being able to impart so much knowledge onto others about the art of playing piano is the greatest joy and honour.”

Lea first started learning that piano at four years old. She played because her mother had a vision, so she practised two hours every day. She first learned piano from, and as, a classical pianist, which means she had no exams and no curriculum. Then, when Lea moved to live in Kenya, the only option was to start learning within the ABRSM curriculum. So, at the age of 12 she did her Grade 5 piano exam, and then began learning Piano Theory. After a couple of years, Lea was just about ready to take her grade 5 theory exam, when the world was hit by the COVI-19 Pandemic. This instant, sudden lack of piano in her day-to-day life began to grow into a love for the instrument. So much so that she sat down herself and practised every day during the pandemic so as to not lose her talent. Eventually, by the age of 19 she had received her Grade 8 ABRSM Diploma, and now is studying Psychology at the University of Glasgow as a second year. Lea has worked with children on several occasions, be it volunteering at orphanages, or working as a teaching assistant at schools around Kenya. Her approach to teaching is to inspire students to love the instrument as much as she does, while also ensuring that her students not only know how to play, but to understand what they are playing. To her teaching, she will apply the same Eastern-European techniques of ensuring that her students are poised and ready to perform what they learn as they grow into beautiful pianists.
